This Summer we have a Bluegrass Series starting June 24th and continuing every Friday night thru July 22nd

It's open first come seating with no reserve seats 'Except Handicapped'

Patrons are welcome to bring bottles of wine and we will tend them for you. We have plastic glasses, however you are welcome to bring your own glasses.
There will be delicious food from various vendors available for purchase, so come early and enjoy a meal before the show.

TONY TRISCHKA & SHAD COBB
TONY TRISCHKA, In October 2007, Tony was given an IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) award for Banjo Player of the Year 2007. Double Banjo Bluegrass Spectacular received IBMA awards for Recorded Event of the Year, Instrumental Album of the Year and a Grammy Nomination.
(United States Artists Friends Fellow-2012) and mentor to the great 'Bella Fleck' is considered to be the consummate banjo artist and perhaps the most influential banjo player in the roots music world.

SHAD COBB, Shad Cobb is a powerful and nuanced fiddler who draws from deep traditions and has played for the Osborne Brothers, Willie Nelson, Steve Earle, Marty Raybon, Mike Snyder, and the John Cowan Band.
Shad Cobbs present-day virtuosity puts him at the forefront of top fiddlers in the country. Whether on one of his recordings, or in a live setting, the playing of Shad Cobb is quite an amazing thing to witness.
FRIDAY JULY 1RST THE GATORBONE BAND
THE GATORBONE BAND, is Gabriel Valla on guitar, mandolin and vocals, Jason Thomas on fiddle and mandolin, Lis Williamson on rhythm guitar, frailed banjo and vocals and Lon Williamson, upright bass and vocals. Gabe, Lon and Lis are also songwriters and their tunes are a vital part of the Gatorbone sound.
Gabriel Valla won the Merle Watson Festival Flatpicking Championship at the age of 16
Jason Thomas is a Canadian Open Mandolin Champion, as well as a two-time Florida State Champion on both fiddle and mandolin.
Lis and Lon Williamson provide the strong rhythmic groundwork behind the band as well as bring their award-winning songs to band's playlist.

Nothin Fancy was formed as a bluegrass band in 1994 to compete in a bluegrass competition. Ever since then, they have grown in popularity, released 11full length albums, and continueto perform at festivals all across the United States, Canada and Norway including the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, the Lincoln Center in New York City, and the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia. They have successfully hosted their own Nothin Fancy Bluegrass Festival every year since 2001 in Buena Vista, Virginia.
FRIDAY JULY 15TH THE CLAIRE LYNCH BAND
CLAIRE LYNCH, Long recognized and praised as a creative force in acoustic music, Claire Lynch is a pioneer who continually pushes the boundaries of the bluegrass genre. She was the 2013 Female Vocalist of the Year for the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and a 2012 recipient of the United States Artists Walker Fellowship. Her career has been decorated with many other accolades including two GRAMMY nominations and three International Bluegrass Music Association Female Vocalist awards in 2010 and 1997. Recently, at the 2014 IBMA Awards, she received two trophies: "Song of the Year" for Dear Sister, a co-write with Louisa Branscomb and title cut of her latest Compass Records release; and "Recorded Event of the Year" for a guest vocal appearance with Special Consensus on Country Boy; A Bluegrass Tribute to John Denver (Wild Montana Skies).

FRIDAY JULY 22ND THE LONESOME RIVER BAND
LONESOME RIVER BAND, continues their reputation as one of the most respected names in bluegrass music. Led by five -time International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Banjo Player of the Year and Virginia Country Music Hall of Famer Sammy Shelor, the group holds a powerhouse line up of award -winning players including vocalist and songwriter Brandon Rickman on guitar, Mike Hartgrove on fiddle, Barry Reed on bass and Randy Jones on mandolin and vocals.
The band is celebrating their Billboard Top 10 Bluegrass Album, Turn On A Dime released on Mountain Home Music Company. This long awaited project includes numerous chart songs including the hit Her Love Wont Turn On A Dime that reached the #1 spot seven times on the Bluegrass Today Top 20.
