HELPFUL TIPS AND REMINDERS ABOUT THESE EVENTS:
- Bring These Things for an awesome weekend (some optional):
A bag/basket/wagon to carry all your stuff in (carry in event - no driving into GA camping) Camp chairs or low lawn chairs Blankets Snacks/Food/Munchies Water (SO much water) Layers of clothing Comfortable shoes Cheap sunglasses Hat Hair tie (extras for the homies!) Hand Sanitizer Condoms (lets be real) Bugspray (!!!!!!) Sunscreen (!!!!!) Your bad-idea pants Tent Camopy/EZ up Hammock+straps Yoga mats/Pashy Tiki torches lights for your camp Flag to find your camp/rage stick(s) Generator if you want your own power source Small propane grills are okay! OFF GROUND FIRE PITS/CHIMNEAS OK Fruit, lots of fruit!
- Do Not Bring These Things:
Food that is complicated to eat Extremely expensive electronics High heels Your good idea pants GLASS ANYTHING WEAPONS (small camping/pocket knives are totally fine) ATV(s)/Dirtbikes **IF we forgot anything definitely let us know in the comments!!!
- The event is about 5 minutes from a public beach on the Tennessee River called Talucah Beach. It is 100% okay to visit this beach through out the event and swim. Althgough we ask you do not publicly drink at this beach unless you want a DUI/Public Intox charge. Please leave your beer at camp and don't drink and drive!
- The police usually set up a road block/DUI check point at night (both nights) for these events, shortly after or around sunset. ): So it is highly recommended you abide by all state laws, have your licence, insurance, and registration in the case you need it. There is nothing we can do about it, aside from let the police do what they see fit to keep everyone safe. So long as your abiding the law and your car is street legal you will get through to the venue just fine. You ARE aloud to bring your own alcohol for personal consumption only (with in reason) so long as you are of legal drinking age. Keep in mind we will be checking ALL ID's. Your alcohol must be in the trunk of your vehicle. Any and all underage drinking is strictly prohibited, with a zero tolerance policy.
-If you attended last year please share this event/ invite all the people you think would be interested. With your help these events will grow and blossom into something amazing. We're so excited to be doing this again, year two! Can't wait to see all of your beautiful smiles.
