Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits Barrel Aged Beer & Chocolate Pairing

Ballast Point Brewing and Spirits along with So Rich Chocolates come together again. We want to give our customers another opportunity to pair handcrafted Ballast Point barrel aged beers with locally handcrafted chocolates from So Rich Chocolates.

Barrel aged beer and chocolate offerings:

1.Ballast Point Single Malt Whiskey Aged Victory at Sea: 13% ABV
Coffee vanilla Imperial Porter, which is aged in Ballast Point Single Malt Whiskey Casks for 6 to 12 months.

Pairing:
Dark chocolate, peanut butter, and honey truffle

2.Elijah Craig Bourbon Barrel Aged Victory at Sea: 13% ABV
Imperial Porter with a blend of cold steeped locally brewed Cafe Calabria Coffee and Vanilla beans, aged in 12 year old Elijah Craig Bourbon Whiskey Casks for 9 months. .

Pairing:
Cherry almond truffle dipped in white chocolate, topped with toasted coconut

3.Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrel Aged Navigator Doppelbock with Raisins: 9% ABV
Navigator Doppelbock is inspired by the strong German dark lagers and bock's which is aged in bourbon barrels for a 12 months period. 7 months into the aging process raisins were are added into the barrels

Pairing:
Ghost chili, orange, and cranberry in dark chocolate bark
