DIRECTIONS:
From Mass Pike: Take Exit 5 and travel 3.98 miles north on Route 33. The park is on the left, shortly after entering South Hadley.
From Route 91: Take Exit 16 to Route 202 North to South Hadley; go right on Route 33 South. The park is on the right approximately mile from Routes 202/33 intersection.
From Route 116: Take Route 33 South approximately 1.5 miles. The nearest landmark is Olde Hadleigh Hearth & Home.

Welcome to our Harry Potter Gathering! You've demanded a gathering to dress in your Harry Potter best and we've got the place to do it! Nestled near the Holyoke Mountain Range, Buttery Brook Park is a perfect place to get together to chat, to compare costuming tips, to talk about upcoming Harry Potter events, to purchase your very own wand, practice spells and take part in Harry Potter re-enactments that focus on the books, the movies and fanfic. Imagine getting petrified by a basilisk and finding yourself in Hospital! Try your hand at replanting mandrakes! Remember, the scream of the mandrake is fatal! Forest wand dueling will be encouraged! We can even try to re-enact the final battle of Hogwarts! This is YOUR event and we can do whatever you would like! Just contact us with suggestions. Above all, this is a gathering of fans coming together to share expertise, friendship and admiration for one of the most prolific authors of our time, J. K. Rowling and her Harry Potter vision.
Tickets are $5 to cover the cost of park admittance and clean-up. There will be a food truck on hand for those who would like something to eat. There are two pavilions and a little log cabin we can hang around in or do neat demonstrations. Wands from Orchardworks Magic Wands will be on hand with custom made wands. There is also a stage to perform wand dueling, singing, or even recreating the Triwizard Ball waltz! The possibilities are endless for immersing yourselves into the world of Harry Potter. If you have an idea for a demonstration, email us! This is not a convention. This is just a gathering.
We must limit the number of attendees to 300. We also recommend car pooling if you can there is parking for 250 cars and the food truck.
We are also hoping some of you would consider volunteering some time to help those folks find a parking spot, check names on the admission list and to keep an eye on the trash receptacles.
