The Gathering
In 1985 President Reagan decided to visit Bitburg, Germany to lay a wreath at a military cemetery containing SS graves. The event infuriated the world and in The Gathering almost tears a family apart.
The Gathering opened on Broadway at the Cort Theater in New York City, 2001, starring Hal Linden. It was first produced off Broadway starring Theodor Bikel and Jesse Eisenberg, directed by Rebecca Taylor.

Written by Arje Shaw Arje Shaw is a published playwright,author and actor. His 2004 off-Broadway hit "Magic Hands Freddy" was rated the number one play in New York City in a Wall Street Journal survey, 2004. Magic Hands Freddy was produced off Broadway, starring Michael Rispoli and Ralph Macchio."Moolah"is scheduled for a NYC production in 2016.
Directed by Joy Carlin Ms. Carlin has appeared on Broadway, on television, and in films. A leading actress, director, and teacher, Ms. Carlin has worked with the American Conservatory Theater since 1969 and served as Associated Artistic Director from 1987 until 1992. She was the Associate Artistic Director at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in 1984, and has directed for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Aurora Theatre, The San Francisco Playhouse, Theatreworks, and The Shanghai Youth Drama Troupe.
