Celtic show for families with Darlene Graham and the Shades of Green Band
Celebrate a day when everyone can Stomp, Jump, and Sing along with Celtic Music! Once a year Darlene and her band explore the lyrical music of the Celts and the influence it has had on their own songwriting and music.
Some songs you may know such as "I'll Tell Me Ma" from Darlene's Big Hugs for Mama CD. Some you'll quickly learn to sing and dance along with! This show is guaranteed Family Fun!!

Darlene has graced stages all over Canada and the United States as a performer of Celtic music and family music for over 20 years. She is a professionally trained musician and educator that hails from Newfoundland Canada. Darlene is a magnetic performer, of traditional Irish music, has toured internationally with Celtic trio Le Ceile, performed in such stage musicals as "My Fair Lady" as Eliza Dolittle, appeared on "Saturday Night Live", on "Sesame Street - Word on the Street" and performs children and family music on stages in preschools, libraries, theaters and festivals. She performs solo and in many combinations with her band "The Shades of Green". Darlene has composed music for schools and theater, and has created Rockin' Tots music program for little ears. Darlene and her Husband Chris have 4 children and she has a passion to create and perform music for children and their families. In 2008 she released a family friendly CD titled "Everybody Dance", and most recently released a new CD entitled "Big Hugs For mama." Kids and parents alike find themselves moving, singing, and dancing to the music.
