Vaude D' Gras! A Mardi Gras Extravaganza
VAUDE D'GRAS (revamped from last year's wildly successful, sold-out extravaganza, CIRQUE DU GRAS) tells the story of 5 vaudeville stars struggling with survival at the advent of the moving pictures through bawdy burlesque, circus aerials, operatic side-show, daring escapes, and whip-cracking, knife-throwing, gun-bangging danger.
Experience history in the making as the Happyland theater (an actual New Orleans vaudeville-house-turned-movie-theater-turned-abandoned-warehouse) returns to its origional purpose for the first time in 88 years, providing live vaudeville theater with a contemporary flare unique to New Orleans' own VAUDE D'GRAS!
