Imagine the classic Hollywood dinner shows of the 1930s...this glamorous sexy dinner show features the beautiful voice of Ms. Brittany Howe accompanied by the exceptional trio of Bob Strain on piano, Bill Fouty on upright bass and Candace Holland on violin. Throughout the evening the romantic movement of professional dancers will grace the floor and touching love poems performed. This very romantic dinner show is in the style of the glamorous vintage Hollywood clubs from the 30s - sultry, beautiful, intimate and wholly entertaining.

DRESS
Everything about these events are designed for elegant romance. For men this is a black tie formal dinner; if a tuxedo is not an option, then request gentlemen in suit and tie or bowtie, vintage 20s - 30s era suits are very acceptable. For ladies, formal cocktail dress, evening gown or vintage costume from the era is perfect. We regret that casual dress is not acceptable for guests.
BESAME MUCHO'S PERFORMERS AND ARTISTS
BRITTANY HOWE Is a classically trained vocalist of extraordinary talent. Fans of Ms. Howes repeat the same accolades "Brittany's sultry voice is beautiful, sexy and captivating,". As a mezzo soprano, Brittany's style ranges from opera to blues and jazz. Brittany has been seen on the Opera Carolina stage as the third lady in Mozarts Le Nozze Di Figaro and The Abyss in Puccini's Sour Angelica. Brittany has a stupendous voice and a vivacious and delightful sense of performance; she is an accomplished entertainer who loves to delight guests. Serving as a High School Choral and Theater Director with a strong background in performance, design, and costume; Brittany brings her talents and skills to the stage as a wonderful performer. Her most recent engagements include: Featured vocalist with Center Piece Jazz and Lex 18, artist in residence at First Presbyterian Church of Morganton, various musical theatre roles with Old Colony Players and Hickory Community Theater, and featured soloist with Waldensian Presbyterian. BOB STRAIN is a classically trained pianist who specializes in jazz and the American songbook of standards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in music from Shepherd University, and Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts in piano performance from Shenandoah Conservatory, where he was on the piano faculty for eight years. He has performed extensively in the Washington, DC region, with long-term solo engagements at venues such as the Willard Intercontinental Hotel, the Gaylord National Hotel at National Harbor, MD, Mr. Henry's of Georgetown, the Bavarian Inn of Shepherdstown, WV, and Friends piano bars at Dupont Circle and Georgetown. He also has worked at various times in DC-region big bands, in funk/dance bands, and with the Howard Burns jazz trio as well as in his own trio with bassist Matt Lewis and drummer Danny Tait. As a solo pianist, Bob has an extensive repertoire of American standards (Gershwin, Kern, Berlin, Porter, Arlen, Rodgers, and more), and is fluent in a range of styles from "cocktail piano" to stride, ragtime, Dixieland, and pop. Bob has served as pianist and music director for productions at the Contemporary American Theater Festival. His jazz repertoire includes classic works by Ellington, Evans, Monk, Shorter, and others. He also maintains a substantial repertoire from the classical canon. Bob Strain is a regular performer at Lex 18 throughout the year.
BILL FOUTY, before relocating to Asheville, North Carolina in January 2014, played bass in San Francisco and the Greater Bay area for over thirty years and participated in a wide variety of musical situations and venues. In his early years, he studied the double bass with Nat Gangursky and performed with various small chamber groups and orchestras throughout Los Angeles County. Also, while in southern California, he graduated from the Dick Grove School of Music where he studied theory and composition as well as improvisation and ensemble playing. After relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1978, Bill began working as a bassist in the hospitality sector and played in jazz duo, trio and larger group formats with many fine Bay Area musicians.
CANDACE ENGLISH (aka Candace Natvig) is a violinist-improviser who loves to romance the American songbook with her personal violin stylings. Raised in a musical family, she learned the repertoire of standards and musicals from their extensive record collection. Violin was her childhood instrument, but she later trained as a classical singer and has a MFA in vocal pedagogy from University of Iowa. While there, she partnered with Jon English, and began singing/playing jazz and improvised music. Living in Europe for 12 years, Candace performed at the Holland Festival, Festival Avignon, and others, and recorded for West German Radio, Dutch Radio, French TV and Free Music Productions. Over the last twenty years in Sonoma County, CA she played violin in orchestras, such as Santa Rosa Chamber Orchestra and American Philharmonic Sonoma County, as well as in bands (The Rivereens, Djingo Django) and with North Bay Pit Musicians. In addition to playing violin, she has experience as a choral conductor and composer of music for theater. Candace moved to Asheville in 2015. These days she likes to describe herself as "really a vocalist at heart, who wants to make the violin sing."
