When you attend our concerts, you will bathe in great waves of inspiring music!
Season Tickets and Individual Concert Tickets are available. All concerts are given Friday and Saturday, at 7:00pm at The Firehouse. The Season is May 27 to November 19, with a concert pair every month.
Our repertory is primarily Classical with emphasis on dynamic and highly accomplished string playing (violin, viola, cello, bass and piano), up to eight players. Local yet internationally acclaimed artists will join a core set of musicians to produce exciting and inspiring concerts. Eventually, as our success grows, we will include other performing arts media.
The Firehouse PAC is perfect for acoustic classical music, with its warm wood construction, excellent stage lighting, acoustic curtains, and rise-seating for up to 100.
Concerts on May 27th and 28th will feature the highly energetic and phenomenal playing of Nancy DiNovo, violin, and Martin Kennedy, piano, featured in the big work of the program: Mendelssohn's Sextet in D. Also on the program is Beethoven's Sonata #5, op.102#2 - a seminal work of the cello and piano repertory. Erika Duke-Kirkpatrick, the celebrated virtuoso cellist from Los Angeles, and Martin Kennedy will present their unique interpretation, to the anticipated delight of the audience! Biber's gorgeous and detailed Passacaglia will receive a sublime interpretation by Nancy DiNovo, and the Dohnyani Serenade, performed by DiNovo, Duke-Kirkpatrick, and Eric Kean, violist, will likely leave the audience out-of-breath (in a good way!). Other artists on the 1.5 hour program include: Patrick Neher, bass, and Lisa Humphrey, viola
