NEW SOUND UNDERGROUND TOUR KICKOFF + MIKE DAUM + NIMO THE HOOLIGAN AND DJ ELSEWHERE
New Sound Underground:
Formed in 2009, marked by their high-energy performances, New Sound Underground has become a staple in the Twin Cities music scene as must-see artists. Finding their roots in a myriad of different styles ranging from jazz, funk, fusion, rock, soul, R&B, and gospel, it isn't too difficult to find a wide range of different listeners and fans. It's this unique diversity that lead them to share the stage with such world renowned artists as The Motet, John Scofield's Überjam Band, Lettuce, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Everlast & House Of Pain, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Nigel Hall, Booker T and the MG's, and MANY MORE, as well as helped them to be able to successfully grace the stage at Paisley Park for Prince's renowned "Paisley Park: After Dark" party series, The Dakota Jazz Club (Minneapolis), and the Telluride Jazz Festival in 2013.
In 2014, NSU partnered with the legendary venue First Avenue in Minneapolis to start a new concert series called "Funk on First" and held two well attended shows that included great local bands from the up-and-coming funk/fusion/jazz scene in the Twin Cities. Be on the look out for the third installment of this exciting new series!

MIKE DAUM:
Electro/House/Dance producer Mike Daum adds live guitar and drums to bring his DJ sets to life. A founding member of Roster McCabe / Night Phoenix, Mike spent the last 6+ years touring the united states and playing festivals like Summer Camp, South by
South West (SXSW), Summer Set, 10kfl, Bella Festivals, Shangri La and Summer Fest.
Mike and his former group Roster McCabe were mentioned in Billboard Magazine as an up and coming festival act

NIMO THE HOOLIGAN AND DJ ELSEWHERE:
This Dj duo has been rocking The Take Off Tour across the US back to back now over a half decade. The music never stops when Nimo The Hooligan and DJ Elsewhere are on the decks. Packing the energy you'd expect from two Veteran DJ's having rocked shows for tens of thousands over the last decade.
Sprouting in the Twin Cities and Midwest music scene, Nimo The Hooligan has made a name for himself as having some of the fastest most complex scratch techniques around. Mixing with only the freshest music and beats from then to now you never know what awesome remix he will mash-up next.
DJ Elsewhere's live sets seamlessly blend a wide variety of genres ranging from Funk to hip hop to moombahton, old school breaks, soul, classic rock, reggae, tv theme songs, etc... all while keeping the mix interesting with well placed scratches, beat juggling and live effects.
