This event is for you! Femme Crush is welcoming all femmes and femme allies to a 90s style speed social mixer. Everyone gets to self-identify what they're looking for, and everyone talks to everyone!

How it works:

We'll provide name tags and chair assignment sheets. You take as many name tags as you need, and write down your name and what you're looking for. Half the group sits down in an inner circle of chairs, half sits in the outer circle of chairs. You get a set amount of time to talk, and then you rotate. If you hit it off with someone and want their phone number or email address, make a mark on your chair assignment sheets. We will collect the sheets at the end of the night. If both of you mark that you'd like to talk more, we'll send you both a connecting email later in the week.

Kind of complicated, but it should be fun!

Expectations:

This sort of thing only works when people feel safe. We ask that you not ask other folks for their contact information and trust that if they're interested, they'll mark down that they'd like to see you. Please be thoughtful around assumptions of peoples' identities and interests: not all femmes are crafty types, for example. This is a femme centered event put on by a femme organizing group. Femmephobia or generally shittiness will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave and your ticket will not be refunded.

Access:

Please refrain from wearing scented products to protect beloved community members. There is unscented soap in the bathrooms near Kaladi. Most of the event will be seated, with frequent changes to new chairs. Half the group will stay in the same seats for the event. The space is wheelchair accessible, but you do have to go back out into the street and come back in to access the bathrooms. There will be significant noise and a high level of social interaction.
