Evangelion 2016
Evangelion is a gathering of Evangelicals in the Episcopal Church for networking, prayer, Bible study, worship, and mutual encouragement in Gospel ministry, both as lay and ordained ministers of the Gospel.
As Evangelical Episcopalians, we are committed to maintaining our church's Protestant, Reformed, and Evangelical character by basing our life and doctrine upon the authority of Holy Scripture. This character is expressed in the Book of Common Prayer and the Thirty-nine Articles of Religion as our secondary source of doctrine, discipline, and worship after the Scripture.
The Evangelion 2016 conference will be held on April 28-30 at Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA. The theme of the conference is Expressing Evangelical Identity in the Episcopal Church. Our plenary speakers are soon-to-be-retiring Trinity Dean and President the Very Rev. Dr. Justyn Terry, the Venerable David Collum, former Dean of the Cathedral of All Saints and Archdeacon of Albany Diocese, and the Rev. Canon Dr. Justin S. Holcomb, Canon for Vocations in the Diocese of Central Florida. You can register for the conference here. If you register before Valentine's Day you can save 10% and we also have a seminarian rate this year.
Registration includes dinner on Thursday night and lunch on Friday. There's a brand new hotel conveniently located right behind Trinity. The normal rate for a queen room is $99.99. We have a limited number of king and queen sized rooms that are available to Evangelion attendees for $65.99. You can reserve your room at the hotel directly adjacent to Trinity School for Ministry at the discounted rate at http://www.staycobblestone.com/pa/ambridge/
