V-Day Kids Dash

Join our for our first inaugural V-Day Kids Dash! This family event is open for kids of all ages and abilities, benefitting Cupid Charities and the Children's Tumor Foundation.

What is it?
The V-Day Kids Dash will consist of a short run/walk and then a dance party afterwards with a DJ, games, and awards.

Why February?
Proceeds for this event will benefit Cupid Charities, which raises funds for neurofibromatosis research. Neurofibromatosis is a genetic condition that causes uncontrollable tumor growth throughout the body. There are currently no treatments and no cure for this disease. This event takes place in the freezing cold as a way to show that we are willing to do something a little uncomfortable and a little bit crazy to beat this disorder!

What if it's cold?
It probably will be. We have a very short course planned so the majority of the event will be held inside. However if temperature or weather makes it a dangerous situation, we will shorten the outdoor portion or move it completely indoors.

What do we wear?
Kids should wear their best Valentine's Day outfits as there WILL be a costume contest!

How long is the run?
There are two age divisions because there are varying course lengths; however if you would like your child to run the shorter or the longer run depending on their abilities that is OK. Please just purchase tickets for the race course length that is appropriate for your child.
