The Wiz: A Spiritual Journey

Dorothy, a praise and worship leader at her church where she has been singing practically since she was a little girl. All she has ever known is the church and is feeling the "burn-out" from the usual ritualistic worship experience. Desiring a taste of the real world filled with something fresh and new, she has a spiritual breakdown which mysteriously transports her to the Land of Oz. In her adventures through the unknown she learns that the only way to find her way back home is through the assistance of the great and powerful Wizard of Oz. In route to the Emerald City, she befriends some creatures who are facing problems in life just like her. In their quest to find and get help from The Wiz, they must face their greatest enemy, Evilene and her wicked daughter Evilene. Will Dorothy get back home to her first love or will she be trapped in a spiritual journey that will leave her paralyzed for the rest of her life?
