2016 Legislative Education & Advocacy Day (LEAD)
Mental Health America of Colorado invites you to our 23rd annual Legislative Education and Advocacy Day (LEAD) from 8 am to 2 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Denver's Scottish Rite Masonic Center (1370 Grant Street).
LEAD brings participants together from across the state to explore the most effective ways to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental illness; to address local barriers to mental health care; and to communicate with policymakers and the media. This year, we will be focusing on our commitment to expanding our advocacy work across the state and to making Colorado a national leader in mental health. We hope to see you there!
Note: We ask attendees to pay $15 to cover the cost of lunch. You can help us offer a limited number of scholarships by buying your ticket and one other for $30, or two others for $45. Please contact Beth Danilson with any dietary needs or other accommodations, or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities: bdanilson@mhacolorado.org or 720-208-2243.
