2016 St. Louis Baseball Writers' Dinner
Join us on January 17th at the Marriott Grand hotel in Downtown St. Louis to help us celebrate the 2015 Central Division Champion St. Louis Cardinals and commemorate the 10th anniversary of the World Champion club that defeated Detroit in 5 games. We will also have a special presentation to the family of Hall of Famer and recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, Yogi Berra.
We're really excited about a new feature of the dinner. The winner(s) of the J.G. Taylor Spink Award as the St. Louis Baseball Man/Men of the Year will share an alternate dinner option of his favorite dishes to share with Cardinals fans. His selections could be from his childhood or his go-to meal before a game or his comfort food after a tough outing. But the menu will reflect their personality, be a part of their lives and, now, be a part of dinner tradition.
All of your favorite players are expected to be there! Trevor Rosenthal, Stephen Piscotty, Randal Grichuk, Matt Holliday, Adam Wainwright, Matt Carpenter and more from todays club along with Scott Rolen, Jim Edmonds, Chris Carpenter, David Eckstein, Jason Isringhausen and even Tony LaRussa from the '06 team.
The St. Louis Baseball Writers' Association Dinner is the best tradition in St. Louis sports. It's the perfect night for fans to enjoy players and management in a relaxed setting where they share stories of the past season and get you pumped up for the season to follow.
Don't miss the capstone baseball event of the winter. It's a night of baseball that you and your family will never forget.
The 2016 Dinner will be our 58th annual gala and is organized as a benefit to raise money for journalism scholarships at regional universities and a summer internship at the Post-Dispatch.
PLEASE CHOOSE THE OPTION TO SELECT YOUR OWN SEATS TO ENSURE YOUR SATISFACTION WITH THE EVENT.
