4-H101 Leader Education Workshops
4-H volunteers are the backbone of the 4-H program! 4-H can not grow and can not grow youth into good citizens and community leaders of tomorrow without caring adults willing to share their time. To ensure 4-H youth have physically and emotionally safe, fun learning environments, ALL adults with unsupervised access to 4-H youth are screened, trained, and certified for their specific roles. In Grant, Adams and Lincoln counties, invididuals must apply, pass a reference/background check and complete basic 4-H educational sessions in order to be certified and enrolled to work with youth in the 4-H program.
The 4-H101 Leader Education Series is the orientation and training component for all prospective 4-H volunteers in Grant, Adams and Lincoln counties.
