PMN Winter Gathering 2016
PMN is a network of Musicians, Performers, Songwriters, Promoters, and Activists using music and culture to promote progressive ideas and values. We recognize the power of music to effect social change, and we gather together to be nourished by sharing and hearing this music. We strengthen our commitment as artists and activists to produce transformative political culture by supporting one another in an environment where we meet on an equal basis. Join us at the PMN Winter Gathering, and be part of the tradition of music for social change!

FRIDAY EVENING CONCERT (Jan 29, 2016): Headlined by 2016 PMN Artist-in-Residence, Joe Jencks plus many other performers. Organized by Margie Rosencranz of the Eighth Step Coffee House.

DOZENS OF WORKSHOPS: Weekend participants lead workshops highlighting group singing, song sharing, & skills for using music for progressive social change (e.g., performance, songwriting, music promotion & using song in struggles for justice).

ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING SESSIONS: Experienced PMN members, including Joe Jencks, will offer one-on-one mentoring opportunities throughout the weekend.

ROUND ROBIN: Saturday night we gather for a Round Robin-style song share where attendees are invited to perform a song for the group, or relax and enjoy the music of others.

LOGISTICS:
Meals: Omnivorous, vegetarian and vegan meals are included in the registration price, and are served from Friday Dinner to Sunday Lunch.
Home Stays: PMN is organizing homestays in Albany among PMN members and supporters. This reduces the cost for out-of-town guests and fosters community and connections among participants. Use the form on the back to tell us if you need (or can provide) housing.

POLICIES:
- Financial Aid: We don't turn anyone away for lack of funds. If you can't afford to pay at least the low-income rate, contact Mary Regan (maryregan@hotmail.com; 617-838-7615) by Jan 8, 2016 to request a cost reduction.
- Donating to the PMN Scholarship Fund helps keep PMN open and accessible. Thank you!
- Cancellations by Jan 16, 2016 will be fully refunded. After Jan 16, PMN will subtract $60 from refunds to cover food costs.
- Work Shifts: The cost of the weekend is low because we share the workload! You will sign up for one a one-hour work shift when you arrive.
