Medical Improv for the Holidays: Focus on Leadership!
Doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals are working harder than ever to provide safe and compassionate care to all patients. Taking some time out for the serious play of medical improv is a wonderful way to decrease stress and build interpersonal skills and relationships that contribute to alll sorts of positive outcomes.
During this workshop participants will engage in a variety of activities like ' Intro to Gibberish', 'Giberish interpreter', 'Columbian Hypnosis' and, 'Stagecoach'. All adapted from improvisational theatre for healthcare workers to promote leadership and followership skills necessary for safe care, healthy workplaces, & rewarding careers. With expert facilitation, the activities are framed within dynamic group discussions that enhance relevance to contemporary healthcare issues, individual growth, and understanding of the principles of 'Medical Improv'.
