Songs of the Season 2015

Are we the first to wish you a Happy Holiday?

We hope so because we want you to treat yourself first to some holiday fun and come to Pioneer and enjoy Songs of the Season.

Pioneer began presenting Songs of the Season 4 years ago with a small group of performers and musicians. We only filled a third of our sanctuary. Last year (year 3) we grew to 50 performers and musicians and were rewarded with Standing Room Only! Why? Because, Songs of the Season is performed by some of Sacramento's most talented artists who will lift your heart, inspire your soul and fill you with joy to last throughout the holiday season ..it may even inspire you "to honor Christmas and keep it in your heart all year" as Charles Dickens once wrote.

So come, enjoy and leave humming your favorite song or carol after hearing an evening of both jubilant secular and joyous sacred music. Songs of the Season is performed in our beautiful sanctuary known for its acoustics. Our Mistress of Ceremonies will be NPR's Donna Apidone and the 30 voice Celebration Choir and 20 piece Pioneer Orchestra is under the direction of our Music Director, Jim Jordan.
