Pearls of Wisdom Tea with The Charleston Silver Lady

Spend an afternoon with silver and antique expert Dawn Corley also known as The Charleston Silver Lady. This is a hands-on lecture and Q and A with the country's most endearing and knowledgeable silver expert.
Dawn assessed and appraised the jewelry that was uncovered in the discovery of submarine The H.L. Hunley that was raised in 2000 off the coast of Charleston.
She has spoken to members of the US State department, touring groups and students of antiques all over the world. She regularly appears on television programs regarding history, silver and antiques.
She will assess and give the history of one item that guests wish to bring.
The afternoon promises to be informative, fun and delightful. Pearls of Wisdom is the name given to this event to highlight the history of the Girl Scouts' connection with pearls since Girl Scout founder, Juliette Gordon Low sold her wedding gift pearls that she took off her neck to keep the Girl Scout movement funded.
Girl Scouts of Eastern SC will offer a limited edition of our collection of pearls for sale that are generously provided and donated to us by Dawn Corley.
