Bemidji Symphony Orchestra presents "Home for the Holidays"
The Bemidji Symphony Orchestra presents it's annual holiday concert, "Home for the Holidays" Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Bemidji High School Auditorium. Dr. Beverly Everett conducts.
Guest tenor soloist Jace Erickson will perform "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables, Franck's "Panis Angelicus" and other selections. Also on the program are holiday favorites such as Let it Snow, Carol of the Drum, Sleigh Ride, A Charlie Brown Christmas and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Rounding out the festive program will be Johann Sebastian Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and the Chorale Prelude: Wachet Auf, as well as a "Messiah" and Christmas carol sing-along.
Jace Erickson is pursuing degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. An active singer and soloist, Jace is a member of the UND Concert Choir and the Grand Forks Master Chorale and has performed in several opera productions including Orpheus in the Underworld (Pluto) and Trial by Jury (Edwin The Defendant).
