"Where's the beef?" This New Years Eve it's at the Coon Rapids VFW. Award-Winning comedian Scott Hansen brings a snowmobile load of his absolutely craziest "FCFF's" (Funniest Comic Friends Forever) for the most hilarious ringing of the New Year! And you were going to drive your mini-van to Eveleth and visit your 97 year-old Boompa (he'll make it until next year! He always does.)

Scott Hansen is the unprecedented, 5-time winner of the Minnesota Comedian of the Year award Scott has developed and created two pilots and a series for Comedy Central including " Access America" which starred Fred Willard, Digest America and "Seriously Weird Magazine", which starred Joel Hodgson (Mystery Science Theatre 3000). He has written comedy material that has been performed on the "Tonight Show" or "David Letterman" by Jay Leno, Louie Anderson and Roseanne Barr.

SCOTT HANSEN began doing comedy when he was five years old. Unknown to his parents, Scott was listening and memorizing the "adult" comedy records that were discreetly played at family gatherings. His first performance was in first grade as he quoted bawdry, 1960's comedian Rusty Warren in Catholic school. Because of the lesson he learned at the age of five, Scott uses his own material.

Since then the unprecedented, 5-time winner of the Minnesota Comedian of the Year award has made millions laugh with successful national TV appearances on HBO, Showtime, A&E and E!. Because of the lesson he learned at the age of five, Scott uses his own material.

Scott has achieved fame and notoriety for his sharp audience interaction and comedic depiction of the "Minnesota situation". Having appeared in front of over a million Minnesotans, he has become the voice of local comedy and an icon that fills clubs and concert statewide.

Nationally Scott has earned the praise of some of America's biggest comedy stars.

"I think Scott Hansen is very funny! And, he is funny all of the time!"  Jay Leno

"Scott Hansen is so funny you might actually pee your pants! Go see him!"
Louie Anderson

Also appearing will be:

Pete Borchers

Don't let his looks fool you; Pete can't fix your computer or do your taxes. But he can make you laugh at life's absurdities and his tales of personal ineptitude. Born and raised in Bloomington, MN, he's Minnesotan to the core, except for the fact that he doesn't hunt or fish, isn't a huge fan of the cold, and thinks owning a cabin is the worst idea. But at least he hates the Packers

In his nearly ten years in comedy, Pete has performed at countless clubs, bars and random people's basements throughout the Midwest. He is a winner of the Laugh with Louie Anderson Contest and Jeff Gambino's Clean Comedy contest. He has also been seen on Twin Cities Live and heard on WCCO radio.

When he's not slinging jokes, he's at home trying to be an adequate husband and keep his two young boys from killing each other. He also has his own marketing business where he writes ads, brochures, websites and anything else his clients are willing to pay him to write.

Patrick Stuart

Patrick Stuart brings a unique perspective to the stage, talking about his upbringing as a geek, his passions for technology (and frustrations), and playing video games. He is a "self professed" social media expert in expressing his frustration about the latest technology or gadget via these mediums.  Patrick has been involved in the Internet in some way, shape or form since before the Internet existed. And, has two daughters who constantly keep him on his toes,

In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games with his wife and daughters, watching TV shows and movies and playing trivia games.  He also contributes to various open source-programming projects when time allows.  All the money he makes doing comedy shows he donates to cancer research charities in memory of his mother.

Joe Tanner

Joe Tanner, "The Lowry Mailman", comes to you from the back streets of North Minneapolis where spreads his quick-witted humor. He not only delivers the jokes, but he delivers your mail!

Discovered by legend comic Louie Anderson while writing letters to Minneapolis radio station KQRS, Joe has opened and shared his childhood experiences of growing up in a family of eight children in the small town of Anoka.

Joe has also crafted comic routines of his many experiences of delivering mail to all sorts of different characters in "The Hood" of crime-ridden North Minneapolis. Routines that are helping to carry him from stage to stage across the Twin Cities comedy clubs.

Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown is a retired Creative Director from the "Ad Biz". An avid theater buff and volunteer usher, he recently took a Comedy Class taught by Comedian Scott Hansen and was at once infected by the "comedy bug". Starved for adulation, he is enjoying his new hobby but plans on keeping his day job producing beautiful landscape paintings in his studio in Minnetonka.

Gust Alexnder

Gust Alexander is a member of the award-winning comedy duo The Stagebenders where has won the "Second City Improvisation Contest" and the "MTV Comedy Challenge."  Gust has been a member of The Second City, The Groundlings and appeared on MTV and Comedy Central
et attendance records at comedy clubs, colleges, and corporate events nationwide. His national reputation has earned him a spot appearing in concert with superstars Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld and Drew Carey.

Scott has been a guest host or regular feature on nearly every Minnesota news, talk, entertainment or sports TV program. He has done the weather and guest hosted sports shows on all network stations. During the 1991 World Series Scott was a guest host for a daily segment for CBS Sports where he debuted his original song, "The Twins Twirl". The video was shown nation wide and the recording played on every Twin Cities radio station. Scott has been heard from nationally on over 500 radio interviews. He has made radio listeners laugh on every possible format ranging from talk to country from metal to Christian. Scott is currently featured on XM and Sirius Satellite Radio and is a regular fixture on the KQRS Morning Show.

Creatively, Scott has written comedy material that has been performed on the "Tonight Show" or "David Letterman" by Jay Leno, Louie Anderson and Roseanne Barr. As an actor Scott starred in the short thriller "Warped " which was directed by Roger Nygaard ( "Trekkies", "Mind of the Married Man" ) which won the Houston International Film Festival and in the feature film "Crossing the Bridge directed by Mike Binder ( The Upside of Anger).
