Flamenco Workshop Oct 16-17, 2015 with Martha SidAhmed & Co: Alegrías/Villancicos Birmingham, AL
MosaicoFlamenco is proud to present Martha SidAhmed, who comes to us again to teach a two-day flamenco dance, singing and rhythms workshop. She's accompanied by flamenco guitarists Guillermo Maduro and Doble T.
Flamenco, at its most artful and authentic, is an improvised conversation among the singer, guitarist, and dancer. If you are a dancer...ever wanted to be able to dance flamenco freestyle? Or understand the dance structure from a letra (song lyric) base? Draw from your own tool box to create a dance? Establish good signals for your musicians? Musicians and singers need to be familiar with these elements also. These are just a few of the skills you'll learn in this dynamic intensive on the art of improvisation, the true heart of flamenco.
A master teacher, two flamenco guitarists, singers, percussion. Experience it.
