Star Trek Live in Springfield: City on the Edge of Forever
Harvest Moon Productions brings the return of the WILDLY popular Staged parody of the iconic and venerable Sci-Fi series. HMP is staging the classic episode: CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER, but not in the way you're expecting. Harlan Ellison's original screenplay was heavily rewritten for the show. In 2014 IDW Comics released a 5 issue comic series using that original screenplay, and that is what our writer Micheal Frizell has adapted for you. This performance will also feature original music by David Greathouse.
The show that has thrilled thousands finds a new home in the Frisco Building on the Corner of Chestnut Expressway and Highway 65 in Springfield Mo. This beautiful venue features ample parking at the door also has a restaurant operated by As You Like It Catering, 2 years in a row nominated by 417 Magazine as Springfield's best caterer. This space will allow show patrons to enjoy a meal before the show and snacks during intermission.
Patrons have two ticket options:
-Show Only (General Admission)- $10.00 each.
-Show + VIP Trek Themed Meal- $20.00 each

-Gourmet "Brill" cheese sandwiches with fresh fried waffle cut potato chips. (Thick cut Texas toast with Cheddar, American and Provel cheese all with a parmesian herb butter crust grilled on the outside.

Proceeds from this show will go to the Seymour Area Arts Council to help in their renovation of the historic Owen Theatre on the square in Seymour, Mo.
