Cinema Center Presents: Sitges America Tour
Cinema Center's Not Safe Fort Wayne is proud to bring you the SITGES AMERICA TOUR! This two-day event will showcase three features and a shorts program curated by the same folks who bring you the Sitges International Film Festival, Europe's premiere genre film festival. Based in Catalonia, Sitges sets out to recognize the best in science fiction, horror, and fantasy from around the globe. This program will recognize a broad swath of genre filmmaking in both features and in shorts.
Feature films include BITE (UK), THE INCIDENT (Mexico), and ME AND MY MATES VS. THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE (Australia). A shorts program will showcase 6 short films from spanning the globe featuring highlighting horror and science fiction genres. Don't miss this once a year chance to dive headlong into the world of international genre filmmaking!

Friday 10/16:
9:00 PM THE INCIDENT 11:00 PM BITE
The Incident (Mexico): Two parallel stories about characters trapped in illogical endless spaces: two brothers and a detective locked on an infinite staircase, and a family locked on an infinite road - for a very long time.
BITE (UK): When a group of criminals kidnaps a young girl for ransom, they find themselves way in over their heads as they are locked in her compound and systematically hunted down by vampire thralls.

Sub-Cinema Shorts Program: Lothar: Whenever Lothar sneezes, nearby objects explode. To protect the world he locks himself into a underground home, isolated from the outer world. One day, an accident occurs. Swiss, 13 mins. Luna: A cold-blooded serial killer invades a family's quiet home in a remote desolate town. The sole survivor of his latest crime is a young girl, who does everything she can to escape before the mysterious stranger finds her. USA, 12 mins. What Doesn't Kill You: After dying in a horrific car crash, two bullied teens reappear completely healed and must decide the fate of their paralyzed friend. Canada, 13 mins. Evil Twin: A group of gangsters get their hands on a teleportation device bringing with it endless possibilities. The group splits into good and bad. And now the fight begins! Germany, 14 mins. Nada S.A.: Carlos has been unemployed for years; he's desperate after failing at all the work interviews he's gone to. One day he sees an announcement for a company looking for someone who wants to get paid for doing nothing. Carlos gets the job and that day will change his life. Spain, 15 mins. The Last Halloween: The city is in silence, and the streets, deserted. It doesn't look like Halloween and yet, four kids get ready to go trick or treating, door to door, gaining a kindness that seems to have disappeared in the devastated Metropolis. Canada, 10 mins.
Me and My Mates Vs. The Zombie Apocalypse (Australia): Three irreverent telecom tradesmen find themselves trapped in a central office during the onset of a zombie apocalypse.
Your festival pass grants you entry into every film during this festival. Please be warned, many of these films contain explicit violence, nudity, sexual situations and gore. (But, it will be great if you are into that sort of thing.)
