SWT Presents Naughty & Proud of It!! benefiting Great Lakes Burn Camp
Join us for some naughty fun to get you in the right holiday spirit. What better way to make it through this time of year than with laughs. There is lots in store--This is the last stop of the Sparkle Wrapped Tour for 2015.
As this is the last Sparkle Wrapped Show for the year, we can't be any prouder it's for a great organization--Great Lakes Burn Camp.
Their Mission says it all:
Great Lakes Burn Camp (GLBC) provides a unique experience that promotes healing, self-esteem, confidence, and general well-being for burn injured children.
We've got a great line up with Melanie Hearn, Paolo Busignani, Michael Geeter and our MC & hostess Moe Lietz. They all have very different perspectives on life and will have you laughing about everything and then some.
A little bit about our comics:
Moe Lietz
She's full of Irish sarcastic wit about everyday life observations....and sometimes the bubbles you wish wouldn't appear over your head make it out anyway...just warning.
Melanie Hearn a fast rising talent on the Metro Detroit comedy scene is a native of The "D" Melanie has always enjoyed entertaining people "just cause". In just a few short months Melanie has made her presence known around town for her versatile mix of realism and sass she's just as nice as she is naughty. Melanie delivers a fun high energy show that really gets the crowd involved in her act.
A local favorite across the Metro Detroit area, Melanie continues to hone her skills at open mics across
the state. Melanie can be seen performing at comedy clubs, bars, corporate events across the Midwest.
Paolo Busignani
Born in Detroit, Michigan to an Italian family. Paolo mixes his boisterous Italian upbringing with a Midwestern charm to create a very engaging and energetic style. Growing up speaking Italish, he sheds light and hilarity to anyone who has had to deal with language barriers. He mixes light hearted sarcasm with storytelling and characters on everything from the absolutely absurd, to things we can all relate to. Paolo also has a weekly satire column called "fitness in a flash" on absrdcomedy.com
Michael Geeter
In just a few short years, Michael has exploded onto the comedy scene. Performing a furious schedule across the U.S. and Canada led to Michael's first big break just a year and a half after starting his comedy career: opening for comedy legend Bobby Slayton! Since then, Michael has been a favorite at clubs, colleges, and charity events, and has been afforded opportunities to feature for radio and television star Rickey Smiley, "Howard Stern Radio Show" and star of "Artie Quitter Podcast", Artie Lange; "Comedian" and MTVs "Teen Wolf" star Orny Adams; "Last Comic Standing" winner and star of "Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay", Jon Reep, to name a few. In October 2014, Michael recently made his national television debut when he was featured on Fox's "Laughs" comedy show. Michael is also produces a series of comedy events entitled "MikeGeeter.com Presents:".
Doors open at 6 and SHOWTIME is 7 pm. We will have some great drink specials and a surprise or 2 in true Sparkle style.
