Creating a More Just Community: Overcoming Racism & Inequity in Madison

Speaker: Rev. Everett Mitchell

Join us at 7 pm in the Cornelia Vilas Guild Hall (enter through courtyard on West Washington side) to hear the Rev. Everett Mitchell speak.

*Director of community relations for the UW-Madison

*Pastor of Madison's Christ the Solid Rock Baptist Church

Rev. Mitchell was formerly an assistant district attorney in Dane County. He has served congregations in many denominations and is committed to building the relationship of the church with social issues such as poverty, war, incarceration and immigration.

Rev. Mitchell is a highly respected scholar, graduate of Morehouse College, Princeton Theological Seminary and the University of Wisconsin School of Law.
