Best Evidence. Better Care. The 7th Evidence-based Veterinary Medicine Association (EBVMA) Symposium
This year's EBVMA online Symposium brings a breadth of speakers from North America and Europe. Topics rage from short vignettes of important clinical decision making skills such as dealing with bias or how and when to use the "Number Needed to Treat or Harm" to new initiatives designed to improve our reliance on reviews of the biomedical literature by seeing that all interventional trials are registered and their outcomes are published openly in a timely manner.

Our keynote presentation this year is Dr. Ben Goldacre, from the University of Oxford, Sense About Science, a popular speaker at TED conferences and author of books such as "Bad Science", "Bad Pharma", and "I Think You'll Find It's a Bit More Complicated Than That".
As before, this year's event is held online. You can gain valuable skills and CE/CPD credit from the comfort of your home or office. Sessions are being submitted for approval for approximately 6 AAVSB/RACE continuing education units (North America) for both veterinarians and nurses. The EBVMA is RACE provider #895.
Go to the http://symposia.ebvma.org for full details including schedule, how to register to attend the webinar, full speaker abstracts, and how to subscribe to our low-volume announcements only newsletter for all the latest news and updates.
