The Empire Room Celebrates Old Blue Eyes!
The world renowned Empire Room of the Palmer House Hilton is paying tribute to arguably the greatest interpreter of the American Songbook the legendary Frank Sinatra on the anniversary of his 100th birthday.
The evening will feature a "Tribute to Frank" floor show featuring six of Chicago's top cabaret performers including Joan Curto, Shelley MacArthur, Paul Marinaro, Beckie Menzie, Tom Michael, and Johnny Rodgers. Afterwards, dance to the highly acclaimed sounds of the City Lights Orchestra conducted by Rich Daniels.
The fabled Empire Room was where a young Frances Albert Sinatra from Hoboken, New Jersey had his beginnings in 1938, as the "boy singer" with the Tommy Dorsey orchestra.
Sinatra was one of thousands of show business luminaries from the worlds of Broadway, Hollywood, radio, and early television who played the Empire Room from 1933 to 1976.
The evening will include:
-Cocktails with a one hour open bar where guests can mingle
-Three course gourmet dinner with choice of entrée
-Wine service throughout dinner
-A special "Tribute to Frank" floor show featuring:
Joan Curto, Tom Michael, Beckie Menzie, Shelley MacArthur, Paul Marinaro, and Johnny Rodgers
-After show dancing to the sounds of the City Lights Orchestra conducted by Rich Daniels.
