9:30 - 4:30 pm $80 (includes lunch) - arrive at 9:00 am
All drum levels welcome!

Performance with Afia Walking Tree and Friends
7:00 - 8:30 pm, then drum jam until 9:15 pm
$15* for workshop participants, $25* in advance or at the door for all others

Afia Walking Tree invites women drummers of all experience levels to gather for this special fundraising day-long Drumming Journey in beautiful Sebastopol, CA. Assisted by Mar Stevens and Larissa Montfort, longtime students and graduates of Afia's Drum Masters Program, we will dive more deeply into clarifying our practice, strengthening our voice through the drum, deepening dialogue that addresses current aspects and medicine on the drummer's path, while accessing courage and grace within a circle of powerful women.

Please plan to participate the entire time, arriving for a prompt start at 930am. We request that you arrive at 900am so that we can begin our sacred circle on time. Your full participation allows us to co-create the safest and most potent container for transformation.

For the daylong journey, bring snacks, a water bottle, journal, altar totem, and your drum (or use ours). Workshop price includes lunch at Mama D's on-site diner, serving a menu including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.

The Evening Performance features dynamic local names in women's drumming such as Carolyn Brandy, Deb Lane, Mar Stevens, Larissa Montfort, and Afia's students. Bring cash, your checkbook, or credit card! This fundraising event will support the maiden voyage of Afia's Drum Mobile! We'll conclude the evening with a celebratory drum jam.
