Rosanne Raneri
As a teenager, Rosanne was inspired by friends and afternoons spent singing and playing popular tunes at school pianos to begin writing songs. She continued to write and perform at college, and felt ignited by the Capital Region's exciting music scene, with its incredible open mic nights, when she returned to the area after graduating in the early 90s. The inspiration fueling her work was non-stop as she was turned on to more and more musicians performing locally and nationally. She was given opportunities to open for June Tabor, Maura O'Connell, Ani Di Franco, Patty Griffin, Rickie Lee Jones, and Rosanne Cash, to perform at regional venues, festivals, and showcases, and to work closely on recording projects with Tony Markellis, Scott Petito, Robby Baier, and a stellar group of friends who contributed their breathtaking talents. She continued to perform regularly in and around New York up until 2009, when she began grad studies in support of teaching at HVCC. Though she's a full-time theatre arts instructor these days, she's still enthralled by the work of songwriters and is happy to perform when she can. As a songwriter, she's been drawn to moments of vulnerability, when that which we sometimes conceal may be revealed, and when those things about ourselves that seem ordinary may be re-designated as extraordinary.

Becky Pine is a singer-songwriter currently based in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. She has a unique voice and style, which is an honest reflection herjourney and mission to live a meaningful andfulfillinglife. Noting influences like Jason Isbell, Lori McKenna and Brandi Carlile,her pungent lyrics and pleasing melodies ride the lines between Alt Country, Americana and Folk. Becky is currently recording her debut release, due in late 2015.
