MOVEMENT TEACHERS CONFERENCE, March 20-23, 2016 with Katie Moran and Jaimen McMillan
Jointly they represent over 60 years of teaching experience: Jaimen McMillan and Katie Moran invite y'all to come down to Austin, Texas to learn how to determine what, when, why, and even how to bring movement activities to children.
Modern research supports the fact that games, sports, and exercise play a vital role in healthy human development. There is, however, not the same clarity on just what is developmentally appropriate. Together we will playfully explore the movement curriculum for first through eighth grade! Rhythm, dance, games, sport, play, acrobatics, exercise. We will help you gain the tools to design a program that is special to your school, your area, and your abilities.
Bring your questions! Block Schedules? Discipline? Rhythms of the year? Group dynamics?
