1st Annual Mercer Island Young Life Chili Cook-Off

Each year, we gather friends from our community to share in the vision of Mercer Island Young Life and how it is impacting the kids on this island.  This is our primary event for raising the majority of our financial support, as well as offer tangible ways to become involved in a mission we whole heartedly believe in.  Our goal this year is to raise $75,000.  We want to celebrate all that The Lord is doing in the lives of our kids in MI and give you a taste of what's to come.

We are excited to hear the music and stories of special guest, Tyson Motsenbocker.  He will be joining us from San Diego California to share his passion for Young Life as well as croon some great tunes from his collection.  He just finished touring with the lead singer of Switchfoot.

We will also be hearing from Young Life leaders and kids.  There will be lively entertainment that will leave you wanting more.  Between the Chili contest and some good old fashioned Young Life humor, it will be a night to remember!  Come dressed casually or with western flair, your choice.  The winner of the cook-off will receive a special engraved ladle.  We will allow for up to 20 contestants.  If entering, please make 1 gallon of chili.
