About the Chef:

Chef Cody started his career working for Robert Redford at the nationally recognized Sundance Resort high-end restaurant The Tree Room. In his personal time Cody would research new and exciting restaurants/chefs and would often go work for these chefs/restaurants for weeks on this own time just to satisfy his need to learn and absorb all that he could.
Soon after a few stage's with Jose Andres in Washington D.C. the opportunity for a position with Jose's new Las Vegas based restaurant China Poblano was offered, after taking the position of Master Cook and relocating to Las Vegas Cody was promoted to Sous Chef within a week of employment.
China Poblano was a great success in the first year and was making waves in Las Vegas, the highest point was the nomination for a James Beard Award making it to semi finalist for Best New Restaurant. Just one year after the opening of China Poblano, Chef Cody was offer the position of Executive Sous Chef for Jose's modernist tasting menu restaurant E' by Jose Andres. Jose's team knew that Cody's level of professionalism and perfection was the right fit for this restaurants highly regarded position.
During Chef Cody's tenure as Executive Sous chef for E' many accolades and awards were given to the restaurant as well as television features and several articles in both local and national press.
