"Labyrinth of Lies" presented by the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival
"Labyrinth of Lies" was just announced as Germany's Academy Award Entry for 2016!
Q&A with director, Giulio Ricciarelli to follow the film.
The Nuremberg trials, held right after WWII ended, are famous, and the 1961 Eichmann trial in Jerusalem is known to most. Arguably just as important were the Frankfurt Auschwitz trials, which also took place in the early 1960s but which are practically unknown. Labyrinth of Lies sheds light on this little known story.
Upon learning that many former Nazis returned to their pre-war lives with no penalty, an ambitious German prosecutor (Alexander Fehling "Homeland" 2015) vows to bring them to justice.
Presented in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Goethe Institut Los Angeles.
