Mark Dvorak and Tom Rasely
Mark Dvorak returns to Foundry Hall and is joined by veteran musician Tom Rasely for an inspiring evening of music.
Mark Dvorak is a modern day troubadour who has never stopped performing, writing and recording. He has been called "a folk singer's folk singer" with "an encyclopedic knowledge of traditional songs." He plays authentic country blues guitar and picks great old-time banjo. Mark enjoys involving his audiences in sing-along songs, just like The Weavers used to do, and mixes in his own well-crafted and infectious originals.
Tom Rasely has performed in 26 states and parts of Canada, as guest soloist with several regional symphony orchestras, and has performed twice at the White House. He has appeared on over 70 recording projects, many featuring his original instrumental music. His music has been heard on "The Folk Sampler", "Echoes", "The Guitar Shop", Muzak, and also in the film documentary "Saving Newburgh".
