CINEPHILE After Party- Bang Data, Boca Floja, & DJ Julicio - Cine Mas San Francisco Latino Film Festival
Bang Data is formed by Bay Area's MC Deuce Eclipse on lead vocals, who's well known by hip-hop fans as an accompanying voice to the legendary Zion I and musician/producer Juan Manuel Caipo who has become a sought out name producing & mixing in the San Francisco music scene and abroad. Deuce and Caipo have created music loaded with heavy grooves,Samba-Ska- Cumbia and hints of Afro-Electro- Bossanova. This mix of beats, rhymes and melodies are infused with soulful bilingual (English/Spanish) lyrics. The sound is unmistakably theirs. Their self-titled single "Bang Data" from their debut album La Sopa was featured on on AMC's Emmy Award winning television drama Breaking Bad.

On stage they are joined by Michael Cavaseno on guitar and Marco Guzman on bass. The group has performed with acts such as Calle 13, Cafe Tacvba, Ozomatli, Zion I, Natalia Lafourcade, Enanitos Verdes, Panteon Rococo, Chico Trujillo & Kinky.

Poet, Rap artist, scholar, cultural ambassador, and founder of the Quilomboarte collective.

In addition to five professionally edited music albums being "Patologías del Invisible Incómodo" his most awarded musical project, and having toured internationally throughout 15 countries, Bocafloja has transgressed into one of the most revered icons in the Spanish speaking Hip Hop communities.

In 2008 published his first book ImaRginación. Prognosis is his second literary project. Race relations, decolonial narrative, and the African diaspora in Latin America studies are fundamental topics addressed in his body of work.

Bocafloja is recognized in Mexico as one of the first Hip Hop artists that effectively utilize cultural production as an alternative tool to stimulate critical thinking, developing a divergent form of political participation coherent with the marginalized youth experience.

Bocafloja has performed in festivals, clubs, and cultural centers in more than 15 countries worldwide and has shared the stage with some of the most important and influential artists in the international Hip Hop scene.

DJ Julicio first came into contact with turntables while attending high school in Cupertino, California, where he learned the art of scratching and turntablism. When he moved back to Santiago, Chile in 1995, he began his career playing with Chilean Rock super group Los Morton. Promoters later caught wind of the young talent and booked him weekly at many reputable clubs throughout Santiago, and as an opening act for visiting bands including Snoop Dogg, Orishas, and Cypress Hill. After working with Los Morton, DJ Julicio started working with La Pozze Latina and with Jimmy Fernandez as well as many other local talents. He traveled all over Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador with Zaturno Espacial (Live Band Hip-Hop). DJ Julicio moved to San Francisco, California in November 2010 and has performed at many Bay Area clubs including the Fox Theater Oakland, Mezzanine SF, The Independent, Brick and Mortar, Elbo Room, Rockit Room, The New Parish, Mighty Club, Eve Lounge and more. In the US, he has opened for internationally recognized bands including: Cafe Tacuba, Ana Tijoux, Calle 13, Cultural Profetica, J Boog, Bayonics, Immortal Technique, J-Boogie, Dead Prez, Los Rakas, GhostFaceKillah, Paroahe Monch, Camp Lo, Killah Priest, Funky C, Gondwana, and more. In 2011, he performed at Art Basel Miami and in March 2012 he returned to Miami for WMC where was very well received. Upon landing back in San Francisco, DJ Julicio was invited to participate in the 2012 DMC finals. So far DJ Julicio has started 2013 with a killer New Year's Eve party in downtown San Francisco, a residency at The Clift Hotel SF, and a return to Seattle for an annual show. In February, he will go on tour starting in Miami, then Santiago, Chile, and wrapping up at SXSW. Currently residing in San Francisco, he continues to DJ and participate in new music projects with local San Francisco Bay Area artists, including Raw-G and Bang Data.
