Ventures cordially invites you to Dine for Change, a benefit for Ventures at the home of Matthew and Linda Bennett.
Ventures empowers individuals with limited resources and unlimited potential to improve their lives through small business ownership. Dine for Change will raise funds to equip local entrepreneurs to increase their income, provide for their families and enrich their communities through small business ownership.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to provide an additional eight-week Business Development Training. Demand for this core program exceeds current capacity- each quarter over 150 entrepreneurs apply for only 50 spaces in the Business Development Training. Meeting our $10,000 fundraising goal will allow us to add an additional training to help 50 entrepreneurs and their families.
Guests will enjoy appetizers, dinner and dessert prepared by participants in our Food Business Incubator program. Ventures graduate Joyce Nicole Smith will serve dessert and share an update on her business. The idea for this fundraising event was hatched at Awesome Fest, an event hosted at the Columbia Tower Club to engage awesome people in creating positive change in our community.
