The KINGSNAKES / Blue Wave Records 30th Anniversary Concert
Blue Wave Records is pleased to announce it's 30th Anniversary Concert celebrating the inaugural Blue Wave Records release of "Take A Chance", the 1985 Kingsnakes album that put Syracuse blues on the national map.

Syracuse's most popular and best ever blues band, The Kingsnakes exploded out of the Central New York area when commercial rock radio began playing the album cut "She's Tough" in regular daily rotation along with the current rock radio blues rock of George Thorogood, The Fabulous Thunderbirds & Stevie Ray Vaughan. Later The Kingsnakes regularly backed blues legend John Lee Hooker when he played the East Coast including headlining the 1986 Chicago Blues Festival. The Snakes initially dis-banded at the end of 1991 and have been posthumously inducted into both The Syracuse Music Hall of Fame & The Syracuse Blues Hall of Fame.

Recently reunited 11 years after their last performance, The Kingsnakes wowed an ecstatic crowd of 5,000 plus blues lovers on July 10, at the New York State Blues Festival in the Friday night headlining slot. The upcoming 30th Anniversary Concert will be their only other appearance in 2015.

Blue Wave Records is an independent record label celebrating it's 30th year of releasing quality blues/rock music to the world. Past releases by international recording artists include Eric Burdon, Downchild Blues Band, Kim Simmonds & Savoy Brown, Cub Koda, Sean Costello, King Biscuit Boy,  Arthur Brown & Jimmy Carl Black and a host of the best regional blues acts of Central New York.

On December 27, 2015 Blue Wave & The Kingsnakes will celebrate together what they started 30 years ago with this special concert. And get a FREE Blue Wave CD with each advance sale ticket purchased before December 1st. Your CD will be given to you the night of the show at the door. Don't miss it!
