Matt Miner Presents and O'Connor's Vault welcome Jonathan Byrd and the Pickup Cowboys, with special guest Jordie Lane, Monday, September 14, at 7pm.

Jonathan Byrd http://www.jonathanbyrd.com and The Pickup Cowboys are musical gunslingers, vaudevillian hucksters, and old-fashioned tent revivalists. Between heartbreaking ballads and hell-raising sing-alongs, the Cowboys entertain, inspire, and get audiences involved in the show. Jonathan Byrd is a preacher's son, a Gulf War veteran, and an award-winning songwriter from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Fifteen years into his music career, Byrd's songs are campfire favorites at folk festivals. The Chicago Tribune called Byrd "one of the top 50 songwriters of the past 50 years." Cellist Paul Ford played bass with songwriter James Deely and Pittsburgh's rock legend Norm Nardini. Electric guitarist Johnny Waken met Paul Ford in Norm Nardini's band, and they worked together for six years in the U.S. and Europe. A celebrated prodigy, Waken was invited to play Jon Bon Jovi's birthday and Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan's wedding.

Australia's critically acclaimed folk storytelling troubadour Jordie Lane http://jordielane.com/ has just come off an epic two year world tour of his Nashville recorded EP, "Not Built To Last" which was picked up by Sirius XM's The Coffeehouse Radio Channel across North America. Accompanied by the multi-talented singer/songwriter Clare Reynolds, they've been sharing their dynamically powerful harmonies across the globe doing coveted main stage appearances at Philadelphia Folk Festival, Winnipeg & Calgary Folk Festivals (Canada), Celtic Connections (Scotland), Port Fairy & National Folk Festival (Australia), and a 50 date US Tour which included appearances on public radio's Folk Alley and Mountain Stage.

O'Connor's Vault is a friendly, comfortable neighborhood music venue offering a full restaurant menu and full bar.
