Christmas with the Trail Band & Silent Auction
The Education Foundation of Forest Grove brings you Christmas with The Trail Band!
The Education Foundation of Forest Grove is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization comprised of a Board of Directors who are all volunteers in our local community.
The Trail Band is as 8-piece ensemble of musicians who create an energetic blend of brass and string arrangements of traditional and original music featuring five great vocalists including Quarterflash's Rindy Ross.
Hundreds of public and private appearances across America and Japan, plus seven successful albums have established The Trail Band as the premiere historic music ensemble from the Northwest. Cornet, tenor horn, tuba, fiddles, hammer dulcimer, guitars, penny whistle, mandolin, piano, saxophone, spoons, bones, drums, bass, and recorders combine with their rich vocal harmonies to create a diverse tapestry of sound.
This event will take place in the Forest Grove High School's auditorium, which houses hundreds of people. Don't miss out!
Proceeds raised from this event go to students of Forest Grove public schools for much needed additional resources and assistance in education in the form of scholarships and grants.

How do you feel about students getting the chance to attend college or trade school? Or the reality of dwindling programs and resources for students and teachers in our public schools?
The Education Foundation is a non-profit organization whose members are passionate about supporting children in Forest Grove/Cornelius Public Schools. We provide scholarships to graduating seniors and grants to teachers for programs and materials for students. To do these things, we organize fundraisers to raise funds, and at the same time help support programs that are not covered by public school funds.
The Christmas with the Trail Band & Silent Auction is an annual tradition, and our main fundraising event.
