"Evening in the Park" hosted by the Wappingers Falls Business & Professional Association
On Sunday, September 20th from 4 to 7 pm, the Association will be hosting a reprise of the "Evening in the Park" on the grounds of the historic Mesier Homestead. This event will invite our member area restaurants and gastronomes to showcase what they have to offer. This fund raising effort is traditionally a wine tasting event, accompanied by an array of gourmet hors d'oeuvres and canapés.  There will be a silent auction and entertainment provided by "The Cagneys", a locally renowned band and 2012 "Best of The Hudson Valley" winner. This event is sure to delight!

In the past this event has raised over $50,000 for various causes. The proceeds moving forward will go right back into our Association for member and community benefit. Funds raised will not only allow us to continue our seasonal banner program and Christmas wreaths/lights program, from which we all benefit, but it will allow us to offer new programs. The Association hopes to instate a scholarship program for businesses; a grant program of sorts for businesses to be able to do small projects that keeps their space functioning and aesthetic.
