2015 Social Media Investigation, Web Collection & Evidence Preservation
Legal Professionals throughout the U.S. and Europe are increasingly leveraging social media to assist in investigative activities. Use of social media by the legal community grew in 2014 and the upward trend is likely to continue. Although social media use among attorneys and paralegals is high and is likely to continue to grow, few have adopted formal training in the use of social media to boost their efforts.
The primary goal during our certification seminar is to introduce you to the wealth of information available and the resources to identify, preserve, obtain, understand, analyze and ultimately illustrate electronic evidence.

Instructors:

Greig Gilbert
Greig Gilbert is an expert in the Intelligence field. As an Air Force Veteran, he spent time in Iraq, working Intelligence for Navy SEAL Teams and Coalition Forces. In his position as Senior Intelligence Analyst, Greig managed over 80 Intelligence Analysts at the Joint Intelligence Center for Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT). Greig was awarded Intelligence Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year and Top Senior Enlisted Intelligence Professional for 14th Air Force. He also has worked with companies such as SRA International and L3 Communications.
During his career with the US Air Force, Greig planned, developed, and directly managed Intelligence Training and Quality Control Programs in many units throughout the world. Greig utilizes his extensive background in intelligence gathering and analysis in Toonari's operations as a Cyber Intelligence Analyst.


Karhrman Ziegenbein
Karhrman Ziegenbein is the CEO and Co-founder of Toonari. He is a well known expert in Social Media eDiscovery and data mining and has worked for companies such as Microsoft, Nelnet, Travelers & Capital One.
Karhrman served in the Armed Forces of his native Germany as a Combat Medic. Currently, Karhrman is an Member of the Kiwanis Club of St. Petersburg and serves as a member for both the American Bar Association and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA).

Refunds: In-Person Training Sessions

Registrants unable to attend a training session should notify Toonari at least 2
business days prior to the training date in order to receive a refund or credit. Exceptions may be made for registrants unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. inclement weather or illness). Please contact Toonari if you cannot attend.

Refunds: Webinars

Registrants unable to attend a webinar should notify Toonari at least 2 business
days prior to the webinar date in order to receive a refund or credit, if
applicable. If you are unable to attend a Minitex webinar and do not notify
Toonari in advance, you will be charged the registration fee, if applicable.Exceptions may be made for registrants unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. inclement weather or illness). Once a webinar is underway, you and/or your institution are responsible for the webinar registration fee. If you are unable to log in to the webinar due to technical issues, please contact Toonari for assistance. If we are unable to help you, we will reschedule or issue a refund.
