Join the AAC in our annual Facelift Legacy Project: Establishing and Restoring the Historic El Cap Trail. This project will take place on Wednesday, September 23rd during the 2015 Yosemite Facelift.
About the Project: Since 2010, Yosemite's climbing trail projects have focused on creating and maintaining sustainable access to many of the cliffs and big walls of Yosemite Valley. By removing unnecessary social trails and delineating specific access trails we improve and revitalized the surrounding natural environment. Volunteers who participate in these projects are helping define a more sustainable path for future generations of climbers. Come join us at the 2015 Facelift and take part in the legacy of the establishment and restoration of the historic El Cap trail.
WHEN: Wednesday, September 23 WHERE: Meet at 8:00AM at the Visitor Center (Mall area outside) DETAILS: Plan on being in the field all day, bring your own lunch, snacks and water/drinks. Wear long pants, leather gloves (can be provided by Facelift), sunglasses, sunscreen, closed toed shoes and climbing helmet.
Don't have camping for the event yet? Register here to camp with the AAC in Upper Pines!
