The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Saint Bartholomew's "Art's at Bart's" presents The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, a play based on C.S. Lewis' classic children's novel.
Follow Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy through the wardrobe into the fantastical world of Narnia, as they learn about the importance of forgiveness and courage. Featuring costumes and set designed in part by children at our Art's at Bart's Camp, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe will entertain and inspire the whole family.
Scheduled for three performances, Saturday August 22 at 2 pm and 7 pm and Sunday, August 23 at 2 pm, proceeds from the play benefit the Big Heart Wellness Center (http://www.bigheartwellnesscenter.org/). Learn more about the Center as well as our community's social justice needs during our matinee Justice Fair beginning 30 minutes prior to each afternoon performance.
Tickets are $15 general and $10 youth/seniors, with children 5 and under free. Group family discounts are available; please call (925) 447-3289 for information. Additional tickets will be available at the door.
Please also join us for a special reading of "Shadowlands" on Friday, August 14 at 7 pm. No charge to come, but donations are gratefully accepted.
Art's at Bart's Camp runs the week of August 17-21 from 9 am to 12 noon. Space is available for children age 3-12 at $40 per person. Multi-child family discounts and scholarships are available. Register today at www.saintbartslivermore.com! Middle-schoolers and teens may participate as aides; please call (925) 447-3289 for more information.
