OEBGMC Presents: "Every Voice Counts!" Champagne Fundraiser Brunch
The Board of Directors of the Oakland-East Bay Gay Mens' Chorus is excited to present "Every Voice Counts!", our annual fundraiser. This year's theme is "Our Values at Work: Community" where we will showcase our deep-rooted connections to our community.
Join us at Scott's Seafood in Jack London square for a delectable plated lunch and of course tasty glasses of bubbly to toast all of our donors, singers and beneficiaries.
You'll hear from some of our beneficiaries and learn what we've done this year to embrace the core value of Community. Of course, what's brunch without a little live entertainment? The chorus and ensembles will be performing select pieces from the 2015 season.
We look forward to your presence as we introduce our 2015 Holiday Concert and our 2016 concert season.
Oakland-East Bay Gay Men's Chorus takes pride in having a voice that reaches deep into the community. It has shared the stage with The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Chorus, Opus Q, Voices-A Lesbian Ensemble, The Silicon Valley Gay Men's Chorus, The Women's Rainbow Chorus, SDK (formerly the Bear-a-Tones), Out On A Clef and small ensembles from SFGMC. The Oakland-East Bay Gay Men's Chorus has raised funds and donated concert proceeds to numerous community organizations including Lavender Seniors of the East Bay, P-FLAG Napa Chapter, The Rainbow Community Center, The Lighthouse Community Center, The Center for AIDS Services, The Pacific Center for Human Growth, Women's Cancer Resource Center, Adopt A Special Kid (AASK), and Alameda Meals on Wheels. Oakland-East Bay Gay Men's Chorus is proud of the work its members do and of the contribution they make to the East Bay community as well as to the Greater Bay Area. The Oakland-East Bay Gay Men's Chorus is a recognized 501c(3) non-profit organization.
