Playing at a local club on La Brea, word spread about this electric young player and soon the likes of Larry Davis, Chaka Khan, among others, were dropping in on the set. After being offered an opportunity to record Living Blues Magazine named Ray the "Artist Most Deserving of Wider Recognition and the album itself Best Debut Album." The rest is history! Ray is a favorite among well-known blues clubs and festivals and his newest CD "Ressurrection"
hit #6 on the National Roots Music Blues Charts.
