Queen of the Night

Find your inner Queen and Support Lupus Awareness by joining us in a special two class werkshop! This night is all about having fun and embracing that diva that we all have inside!

A portion of the proceeds of this event will go to help a young lady cover the medical costs associated with her Lupus diagnosis. Bobbie Ray is a beautiful and talented artist in the Atlanta area that is showing incredible strength as she goes through chemotherapy to help in her battle. She will be at the event telling her story as well!

Check in will be at 6:30 pm. Use this time to meet our vendors, groove to some music, and get to know other participants! After 30 minutes, classes will begin. Please plan to arrive between 6:30 and 6:50 to ensure that classes begin on time!

First, find your inner Caribbean Queen with Janiel (@shegrooves_shelocs) in "Whine Up Goddess" at 7:00 pm. Then, continue this seductively royal night with Lauren (@themissla) as she teaches you a few new tricks with "Floor Play" at 8:30 pm. Once the dancing is done, learn the story of a young artist, Bobbie Ray, who has been diagnosed with Lupus and uses art as her outlet.

Both instructors have experience teaching those that dance and those that don't! No dance experience is necessary and participants must be 18 years or older. Heels are optional! We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing, purple or black preferred but not required. Respectful observers are welcome for a fee of $7. A waiver must be signed before one can participate. No recording permitted until the end of each class.
