Together We Rise: Gender Equity Workshop
JOIN US: How do our experiences of gender impact and shape our day-to-day lives? What is possible when we open our hearts to the stories and experiences of others - with curiosity and compassion? What does it feel like to explore spaces where we can relax into being exactly who we are, beyond conditioned shame? What systems of power and privilege must be deconstructed and healed in order to create a future where gender equity is the norm?
In this experiential workshop, we will explore these questions and more. Our experience of gender is both the site of some of our deepest wounding and our deepest joy. We welcome you to join us as we uncover what it would look like for each of us to cultivate gender equity and the freedom to be who we are in our daily lives and wider worlds. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT: Join us for a day-long exploration of these questions through discussion, story-sharing, and group activities, all within a safe and empowering space.

At the beginning, I was pretty nervous, but Dan and Anna-Brown quickly fostered trust and connection among the group. While some of the activities challenged me, I gained a deeper understanding of myself and the group, and at the end I felt enormously grateful (and, quite frankly, elated). It is an experience that will stay with me and guide me as I continue to move forward and do my work in the world." -Kori Linn
"Your facilitation and guidance skills are masterful. you exemplified how we, as a group, could be mindfully attentive, reflective and awake with each other, and still find the space needed to process in a personal way within a group dynamic. Exemplary. You each held the space with exquisite grace and confidence, and welcomed the wisdom of the room into your own embodied understanding of the subject. You held the group's trust like a precious jewel. What a gift of heart expanded learning you offered. There's no question that individually you hold your own as facilitators; as a team, you soar! Thank you, again!" -Barbie-Danielle DeCarlo
"The Together We Rise exploration was a moving experience. Dan and Anna-Brown created a warm and cohesive space where I could express my true self and connect with kindred spirits. I will move forward empowered, with a larger sense of community and hope for a just world. We can do it!" -Laura Sheridan --------------------------------------------------------------------------- QUESTIONS? Be in touch: info@wholeheartedmasculine.org
